Wood Type?

I scavenged a table from the side of the road that I’ve cut up for some projects but I’m unsure what type of wood it is. Can anyone help out by looking at these pictures?

Makes me think of something I saw once here on an LJ wood id post that id’d it as rubber wood or monkey pod, though that sample has more grain figure than the images

Most likely Luan, or type of wood that looks like Luan. Luan is a catch phrase for most woods that come out of Asia used for inexpensive furniture, packing crates, pallets, etc… Light in color, open grain, soft.
