So I’ve sanded the floor and applied wood conditioner. Why is it coming out like this green tint?? Suggestions? I’m staining it a light honey color

The only place I might even see green tint in that picture is to the left of the furnace vent, and closer to the wall. If it is all over I can’t see it.
Most of my experience in getting a color tint you don’t want on the flooring is due to something else having invaded the wood over time, like water or some other major spill. Some people like the patina, some people are trying to create a new floor out of old wood.

Is this a new wood floor? Or are you refinishing an old one?
