I currently have the Rikon 20-110 jointer with the two speed pulley system and was wandering if anybody else has this or is familiar with it. My question is, can you use the Fenner Power-twist drive belt insteadof the stock belt. I have one on my cabinet saw and it really helps reduce vibration. Thanks for any input that is offered.

LPW, I do not have a Rikon jointer, but I do not see any reason not to use the Powertwist belt. Just make sure the you make the Powertwist belt the same length as the stock belt that came with the jointer. You should be able to get the two belt close by just eye balling them side by side. I use and sell the Powertwist belts were I work, and they are good stuff.
