I have even more Japanese tools so I need to let some of them go. Thanks for looking.

First is a brand new Baba Masayuki hammer with a handle made of Hornbeaam heartwood that has a pretty little section of nice figure at the end. Handle is very tight, well fitted and secure. The head is what he calls his file finish. 350 grams. Beautiful tool in pristine condition. 100.00

Now a Tsunesaburo 70mm smoother in a white oak dai. Model is called Shinzan and is made with old blue steel #1 laminated to real kamaji which is very old iron, very soft for fast sharpening. The chipbreaker is also laminated the same way the blade is. The dai is very heavy, tight grained white oak and has no cracks or defects anywhere. Plane is completely tuned. Blade and chipbreaker have been flattened, mated to each other and sharpened to a very sharp edge. It is definitely ready to work. The sole has been conditioned and tuned the way I prefer with only 2 contact points. This particular plane sold for 225 for a 70mm, its brand new basically and I will let it go for 160.00.
