Does anyone know if this:

is compatible with this:

http://www.rockler.com/triton-3-1-4-hp-dual-mode-plunge-router?

I really like my TRA001, because it’s a beast and its original base is a good facsimile of a router lift. I’d like to attach the Wixey digital height gauge to it, but I can’t really tell whether the Triton’s base will meet the mounting requirements of the gauge.

More generally, if anyone has the Wixey gauge – do you like it?

I have a wixey indicator on my planer. The only real mounting requirement is clearence for the sensor to move and mounting space for the sensor rule. The rule can be mounted with double stick tape The readout can be calibrated easily. The one on the planer works great and keeps its reading even if moved while powered down.
