I’ve been looking for a jointer on a very limited budget and came across this:

Is this a good deal for 100?
Thanks for any feedback!

I should add that along with a limited budget I have even more limited space so benchtop is really my only option at this point.

I dont have too much good to say about the new delta. You could get something like this for not much cash. Just check coplanar before you buy, as always.

Yes, I am fond of old machines. No, I do not like new machines.

I got pretty much that same old delta froma garage sale for $50. It works great and I would probably take it over a newer one.
Here’s one that night be a better deal:

Jointer – $150 (Baraboo)

Heavy duty craftsman jointer
Extra set of blades
Great shape

Dont do it, those are pretty basic/junky and I watch CL in Wi every day, you can do way better for 100-150.

Not a good deal. Bench top jointer is not worth it. Wait for a decent 6” floor model.

Have your say...
