My opinion is why are you posting on LJ asking about it? You should be driving that way as fast as you legally can and post it here later as a gloat.

If that is legit, it’s a great price on a very good saw. I’d be on it as fast as my fingers could dial or email the seller.

After looking it up, having a 1.5hp motor, for the price I’d def go get it, of course I would try to talk down a little just because.

I’d pay $300 without haggling. Can’t tell by the photo what resaw capacity is, but i’m pretty sure a riser block would be available, if wanted.

Why or you have more then you need, or just stupid, he is stupid for not doing his price/selling research.

Looks like a good price. If those are the older style of square guides it’s worth even more than $280. If the blade guides are the newer roller type, then I’d hesitate to buy the saw unless I could figure out a way to convert it.

I have that saw with a riser block and it is great for resawing. I like the roller guides and haven’t had any issues them. I did add a Kreg fence. I would buy another in a heartbeat. Go get it!

Well he finally answered my messages, turned out the toad sold it two weeks ago.
Guess he was too lazy to pull the ad.

That is pretty typical. The “Posted about a month ago” should have tipped you off. If it is a great deal, they rarely last more than a day or two at most. When you run across the next deal, don’t waste your time asking if you should get it, just do it… or OWWM rule #5 will get you almost every time.

Cheers,
Brad

remember, before you post a CL pic, you can right click on it and look up a pic on the web. Basically when you post an awesome deal on LJ you give everyone else a chance to steal it out from under you. The only time I do this is when I contact the seller and ask for more pics then I may post those pics to ask questions.

Instead of wasting time posting this I’d be at the sellers house ripping the back pocket off my pants trying get my wallet out.

Ugh I hate those people with a passion, or the people who say yea come take a look at it, then sell it while you’re on your way and don’t have the decency to tell you, wanted to punch an old man in the face one day because of that.

Have your say...
