Can a delta fence system easily be adapted to fit a JET tablesaw? im looking at a DELTA 36-T30 T3 30-Inch Fence with a reasonable price. Is this advisable, or any one know of any major difficulty?

As long a the width is the same I don’t know of any reason that it wouldn’t work. I not a expert but I think it would. You will probably have to do some drilling on the rails or saw table though.

The Biesmeyer fence (which is basically what that Delta is) will mount on just about any saw with a little creativity. Yes, you will most likely have to drill some holes, but drilling cast iron is easy. The old installation manuals used to have specific instructions for Delta and non-Delta machines. Not sure if the new ones do or not.

Pretty easy if you have a bit of mechanical inclination. Just understand the relationship of how high or low the fence is supposed to sit on the rail so the fence sits in the table evenly and properly.

I have a Jet JWTS-10JF that I put a Delta T2 on. It didn’t require any modifications to either. The holes in the table were ever so slightly different than those in the rails, just enough so the screws didn’t sit perfectly flush. It still functions perfectly though. It was a good upgrade from the stock fence.
