Hey to all,I just put a thing on youtube about blotching,the hardest thing ive ever done in the 10 min youtube allows, my question is simple do you understand it or do i need to break it down farther, i have no issue refilming it in several segments ,just so its clear and understandable, thanks to all for your help,

Charles,
I watched part of it. I use a similar method to yours and I was still getting lost. It really isn’t coming across the way you want. Sorry, maybe I’m just dense today. It is a difficult subject to explain and I think it will come across with a little more… something??? Not much help, huh?

Hey Charles,

One problem I found was the quality of the videos on YouTube won’t allow the example pieces you show later in the video to help you explain what’s going on. They all look about the same from here. (The piece you show at the beginning looks great though).

I guess it did get a bit confusing also. Maybe you break it up and put in a couple more rules in text panel format. Like when you have “oil and water don’t mix”. It seems this might drive home certain points more clearly. Like rules for Shellac, what is a stain, what is a dye, and stuff like that. (?)
