Has anyone ever heard of a Gillam table saw made in 1975, if so what do you know about them. I’m looking at one for sale. thanks

Found one on craigslst right here in Indy.

That is the one in question. I never heard about the brand and was looking for feedback

Gilliam made kits for a number of tools—table saws, band saws (18” and 12”), drum sander, and I think a shaper. Maybe some others, too. The components. besides bearings and knobs, were usually cast aluminum, and you provided the wood/plywood to make the box. I built the 18” bandsaw. It actually wasn’t a bad saw, but it was very light duty, as the wood didn’t have the rigidity to prevent flexing of the frame.

I have heard the company still may exist, but has no web presence that I’m aware of.
