If you are interested in learning new routing skills you may be interested in my Blog 8 and Blog 9 where I have set out a lesson on how to rout a rectangular picture frame as an introduction to the use of guides. There are many projects that can be completed with the guides with greater safety awareness. Not all projects should be attempted on the router table

Thanks Tom , you know my 1st router was a very small B & D I still use it as a trimmer, but at first I was kind of scared of using it but now I have 7 of them and it amazing the work you can do with them I would not go without one now.
Thanks for the lessons.

Tom,
How about a tutorial on making the more complex templates.

Hi Tom,
Specifically, the carved/engraved symmetrical designs that involve multiple templates and multiple rotations.
I can’t wrap my brain around how to even begin to plan for something like that.
Thanks,
Gene

Hi Gene

Christmas is nearly over and all our sons will be returning to their homes across Australia and maybe I will find more time to my workshop and present some more information for you
