Just letting everyone know that he is evacuated and it appears that he will still be out of his home for a while. They are still fighting fires in the area of his home.

Hang in there, I’m in Ventura CO and all we got was ash and bad air, hope everything goes well

We will keep him and his family in our prayers… Also, all of the other people impacted by these tragic fires.

Finally got the green light to return home today around 3pm. Thankfully, the fire missed us, but I have a lot of cleaning to do from the high winds early in the week, and all the ash. Thanks to all who posted and emailed well wishes. I truly appreciate it.

Now I can hopefully get back to some woodworking. As I promised yesterday, I’ll catch everyone up to date on my class over the next week.

“That’s odd. All of my finishes have ash in them!”
