I’m in need of some cabinet grade plywood. A1 Oak.

I’m looking for something that is stable and has more than 5 plys. Is there a certain type of ply I should be looking for?

Not really keen on the terminology when it comes to plywood, so looking for some suggestions.

Curtis lumber should have it. If the Saratoga branch doesn’t carry it they should be able to bring it up from Balston Spa. I know they used to carry it.

Okay. Any luck with it?

I have a supplier in my (Premium plywood in guilderland) we use them at work. I called Curtis and they said they have it but I’ve not checked it out in depth. I glanced a few times and put it off as the same type that HD carries. Being the 5 ply stuff. Thanks Don.

Its been a long time since I’ve bought from them, so they probably have changed suppliers several times. If you call the Balston Spa store you may find someone who can answer your questions before you go look.

Alright Thanks Don. I was thinking about taking a ride out and see what they have.

Have your say...
