Topic tags/keywords: question jig

It’s from a craigslist ad. Here’s what they say about it:
For sale is this T-track hardware that was configured into a saw or router fence. Good condition but needs a dusting. One might reconfigure the pieces for another type of fence. This has a clamp down handle to release and tighten the position on the back extension. All of these can be unscrewed as it appears.

I thought it kind of looks like something older from Incra, or somebody’s version of something from Incra. No idea, but I’m curious if it looks like it’s all there and usable as a router fence.

Jointech is my best guess. If you do a search (I use DuckDuckGo instead of Google), you’ll see several forum discussions about them.

To me, it looks more like early Incra Jig hardware. I have one of the first Jointech jigs and it doesn’t look at all like this. I’m also familiar with their follow on designs.

It looks a lot like the Incra router fence my dad has had in his shop for at least 25 years. I saw that thing every time I went out in the shop as a kid, which in high school was about 4 times a day…

It’s the original Incra fence. I have one. Not sure that everything is there.

I did do a little more looking after reading Brian’s answer, and it is an Incra Jig Pro circa mid-90’s best I can tell. After googling it, I found responses from a few places where someone asked about getting one. Seemed to range from, go for it, to it sucks. But then saying they’re comparing it to the LS or the Ultra. Compared to their latest it sucks? Well, duh lol. It’s $35. I’m kind of on the fence about getting it (pun intended).

Have your say...
