I saw what appeared to be a giant chop saw on tv recently. I can’t remember what show, or what company was using it, but it was for cutting large timbers. I’m looking for a mfr. of large miter saws – as in 24” blade diameter large. Thanks.

did you try the original saw company? they are the people that bought the rights to original dewalt saws.http://originalsaw.com/22superduty.html is a 22” version i see on their site.

The 15” Hitachi is the largest I’ve seen. Anything larger would bw a comercial machine and would probably be very expensive.

Grizzly has some super large jump saws that are just for crosscut operations.

That 22” RAS looks like the ticket! Probably pretty pricey though. Thanks.
