What steps have you taken to repurpose,recycle to reduce cost in your projects?

This is an example of a project that I scrounged wood and hardware for. The legs were locust that was orginally cut for fence posts the oak top was left over scraps from a pole barn and the strectchers were pine scraps from a pergola that I built. The vise was a flea market find and the only new part was the Veritas end vise.

LOL – too many to list… from recycling milk jugs to wood scrounged from construction site dumpsters… not to mention all the old dead machinery parts that get re-purposed on other machines.
