In the event you did not see it in the Popular Woodworking blog. New 51, 52 and 72 planes are in the works. The #51 (chute board plane) is planned for Q1 2010.

A rediculous price when you consider how easy it is and how few materials there are to make this another rip of for we poor suckers! Wow sorry my 2 cents this the price of a good sliding table saw etc.Someones joking surely.

Just to be clear, the wooden plane is a mock-up. These are tools that will last generations if they are taken care of.

It’d be about three generations before I’d have it paid off…........

LieNielsons stuff is top flight but way way expensive.
