Can you post a photo/description of your plane? I am wondering why would would want to send it out as opposed to doing it yourself.

Which plane is it? Some of them are worth the money to have someone refurbish it. Some are really not. You could also do it yourself, there not much to it. WayneC (above) is a good resource for information about that. I’ve also done a few lately. Its easier than you think.
