I have a slow speed grinder with the Oneway Wolverine sharpening system. The only problem I have is: how do I sharpen oval skews on this system? Is it possible?

I had a Tormek T-7 and it worked fantastic, but I sold it since the skews were the only thing I was sharpening on it and I needed the money..

I am having fits with the oval skews!!!

I don’t have the Wolverine system but used to have a home made knockoff of that type of holder. Could you make a jig that connects to the handle end of the holder and have it offset so it would match the angle on your skew?

Consider this Tormek jig for your bench grinder. Then you can grind your skews asyou used to do …

Here’s my review:

Oneway has a skew jig that sells for $35.00. It attaches to the wolverine base arm. Also on the oneway website is a multi-media section with videos. I own the wolverine system and it works great. Here is the link.

Thanks all, I ordered the bench grinder set up from Tormek! It’ll be sweet!
