Hi all
Wondering if someone can help me, I plan on building Adirondack chairs and table.
I need lumber, problem is I live in Hong Kong, I will be in Toronto for work later this week and have Saturday off.

I need to get my lumber but it needs to be dressed sizes and roughly cut to length. The reason I need it cut into small lengths is that I plan to take it back to Hong Kong as my check in luggage on airplane.

I am thinking good quality pine no knots.

This is my cutting list, I have emailed several lumber suppliers but seems not much response.
All is finished sizes
1”x 5 1/4” 5pieces/3’

5pieces/2’5” 24pieces/2’

1” x 3 3/4” 5pieces/2’ 5 1/2”

24pieces/2’2”

3/4” x 2 1/4” 21pieces/2’

3/4” x 3 1/4” 16pieces/3’

If anybody can steer me in the right direction that would be great.
Kind Regards
Anthony

Thanks for your reply,

Yes I have emailed a few suppliers but not much response,
Problem is I need the wood at finished sizes and all cut up into short lengths, the longest being 3 foot.

I need to order it this week get it cut and pick up on Saturday to fly back Hong Kong Sunday.
So I need a supplier that can help me with those requirements.

Any thoughts?
Regards
Anthony

If all you need is Pine, you could contact one of the Home Hardware Building center stores or Rona, or Home Depot. they are the ones that would do that type of orders, most of what they sell is already dressed ,all they need to do is cut them to length.

Shouldn’t bee too difficult.

There is but its very low grade and expensive , also most of the lumber shops don’t speak English only Chinese.
Further to that its very very expensive. Hong Kong is a concrete jungle

I am in the airline industry so checking it in wont be a problem. I just need to be ultra organized.

Thanks for your reply

That might work, I just worried about the lumber grade , I need no knots
