Hello all, long time lurker here. I recently purchased a Grizzly Anniversary Band saw, and after assembling it, had these 2 pieces left. I cannot see where they go, and do not see them mentioned in the instructions. Any idea what they are for? Robert from North Carolina.

Which anniversary saw? To me those look like offset bearings, or “Cams”. Maybe they are used with the fence to lock it down?

If not, go to Grizzly’s site and click on the schematics/parts list for that saw and look for that part.

I bought the G0555LANV earlier this year, it didn’t come with anything that looked like those. They kinda look like the parts that hold the blade guide bearings, the ones on my saw are black and offset like that.

Somebody got shorted in their kit? Those are adjustment cams for the blade side bearings.

I figured it out, Grizzly includes a set to be used when using a narrow blade, they suggest I swap with these, and then put the originals back when I go back to a wider blade. It wasnt in the manual, it was an insert/update to the manual. Appreciate the replies.

Well, why didn’t I get those “mystery” cams?

I am assuming it is a recent addition to the purchase since it didnt make the owners manual cut, had to be added as a seperate piece of paper (which I initially paid no attention to). There is a better explanation than I gave on the insert, talks about how these will help the saw perform better with narrow blades. I would imagine you could contact Grizzly and ask for them, if they feel it is important enough to include now, I would think they would retroactivly provide them to validated buyers of the saw.
