I put a quick and rude (yet adjustable) table on the ol gal, but 1.5 min of use on it and the dang motor reset button tripped. No burning smell, motor wasn’t even close to warm. I didn’t have time to take it apart and look late last night, but I’m hoping for a loose wire or slightly cracked yet repairable disc/breaker, but deep down I think its probably the button and I need a new one…any leads on where to track the button/breaker down? Its a 1957 GWI 110/220 Thanks!

I’d wait and see what the guys over at the Dewalt forum say…someone will either have one or a solution. They may also have some diagnostic advice, I’m not sure you’ve isolated the problem. I thought I had one, but I don’t (or can’t find it). Anyway, best of luck with it.

Im in agreement Fred, proper diagnostic is definitely in order….sensing it also might not be isolated.
