Dick Question I’ve got is when posting a picture (image), does it show up in preview when using “image” from “properties”? |
|

I think I got it this time. |

Yes Cabinetman, you should see the picture in the preview if the picture location is correct. Note that the picture must be hosted somewhere on the internet – not just on your computer. Hope this helps. -- Martin, http://lumberjocks.com | My Facebook: http://profile.to/msojka |

There are two ways to post pictures. If you are posting a project, you upload them directly from your computer by using the browse button that takes you to the location of your file in your computer. Then you click on upload. You can have up to three pic’s in your project post. The second way is to upload your pictures to a picture hosting web site. There are many of these and most are free. When you’ve uploaded the picture, you are given a hyper-link that you can then place directly in the body of your blog by following the instructions in the formatting guide. The link would look something like this http://img29.imagehack.us/img029/4706/dscn33052bv.jpg (I’ve jiggered the link so it doesn’t work, but so you can see what it looks like. I place exclamation marks at the beginning and end of the link to embed the picture directly into the post.) Now here’s this link fixed so it does work. (This is my first successful hand made dovetail joint after about a dozen tries.
OOPS – I guess we were all too eager to help – glad you figured it out, CM. -- CanuckDon "I just love small wooden boxes!" http://www.hillsbiblechurch.org/ |

Don, I will probably “steal” your reply and modify to picture posting guide later (if you dont mind of course). I finally need to push myself to just do it as Nike says.. but there is just so little time. But your post could serve as a great starting point. Thanks for sharing it! -- Martin, http://lumberjocks.com | My Facebook: http://profile.to/msojka |

Don Only 12 tries – I would have settled for that on my first attempt. BTW, them are BIG. |

Quote cabinetman: BTW, them are BIG. Yes, I started with big dovetail joints just to get the practice. I now find them much easier to do and make them much smaller. -- CanuckDon "I just love small wooden boxes!" http://www.hillsbiblechurch.org/ |

And as far as the picture goes, in response to the caption … “What’s there to talk about, Honey? You sleep out on the couch” HAHAHAHAHA. |
