I was reading recently about the anniversary of the plane crash that killed Ronnie Van Zant and several other members of the Lynyrd Skynyrd band. That led me to thinking about some of the other musicians we’ve lost in similar accidents, and that, of course, led me to pull out the guitar and write a song…

Charlie, you have a very unique haunting quality to your voice. It totally makes your song. Like you Croce was one of my favorites. I was in Basic training listening to him shortly before he past. There was a lot of great music back in those days. Only nostalgic memories these days!
