I came across a 6” Barton Jointer on my local craigslist, does anyone know anything about these? Is it worth anywhere near the $150 asking price?

Thanks – Phil

That looks like the same one for sure. It is on the Skagit, Washington State craigslist. No link handy, sorry.

Depends on the motor that was installed to replace the one that died somewhere in the last 30-50 years.

Also, bed condition, cutterhead and the the condition of the blades. Remember that you won’t be able to run down to Home Depot or log-on to Amazon to pick up a spare set. If you’re lucky there will a model number on the body or some form of documentation that will tell you the size.

Picture on Craiglist makes it look okay, but the extra drive for either of these would be more than worth it

I have the same model as the Delta (37-190) and its a beast for a 6”

Have your say...
