Greetings LJs: I had a LJ PM me and asked if I could send him from photos of my clamp rack system I built. He saw it ,I guess, on my shop pixs. I said that I would try somehow. But I don’t know how to do it sending it through a PM back to him. I can post them on a blog, or project, by pulling them up from Photobucket, but then it wouldn’t be a PM. Is there a way to do this, or am I just spinning my wheels? I’ve never received or sent pixs that way. If it can’t be done, I will have to post them the other ways….I need the computer experts on this one…......

I would put them on photo bucket then send a link to them in the PM.

The other way to do it would be to use a regular email program. You could use hotmail or gmail if you want to maintain your privacy.

Hi Rick.. what Wayne said. PMs are just plain text. If you need to share documents or pictures you can exchange your email addresses and keep the discussion going via emails.

Yep, like Wayne said…just PM him and and exchange email addresses so you can communicate directly that way.

Even if you like to keep your email as private as possible, everybody should have a free hotmail or gmail account that they can give out without worrying too much about spam.

I think I have sent a PM with a link and that worked. Am I just remembering wrong?

Thanks everyone for the info. Thanks, Martin. So what you’re saying is: take the pixs, put them in photobucket with a direct link, write the PM, pull up photobucket, attach the link, and send it that way?
But when I’ve sent PMs, I’ve never seen a browser you can open for that. Or have I just over-looked it, and didn’t pay attention? One other thing, too: I don’t know how to send pixs via emails either….... never did it, nor figured out how. I’m not real savy-smart on these confound machines…........ but I’ll try it and see what happens. I may be holloring back for help….......... stay alert…........lol lol…................
