Hello.

I have during many years tried to subscribe for this magazine – since at least 2010!

I have send several mail to the mail address – NO answer!

I have entered their site for subscription – NO luck!

I have tried to call – NO luck!

I then found an address in UK and have got 5 deliveries – NOW this is also stopped!

What kind of company is doing this? Who is responsible for such a bad reputation??
Is it a fraud for foreign customers??

I would be very interested to hear others oppinion about this magazine before I send my query to the US fraud departement.

Regards
Steinar

On their web site it appears they only ship hardcopy to the US and Canada. They do have iPad subscriptions when I looked at their web site, maybe that is an alternative.

It could be a pass through magazine sales company not even affiliated with the publisher. If you paid with a credit card contact them and put in a refund billing request.

Perhaps you can track them down through their ISBN number. It’s written right below the bar code.

Honestly Steinar, to my way of thinking there are better wood magazines out there. Popular woodworking and American woodworker merged. It’s one that I subscribe to, that and woodworkers journal keep me pretty well entertained.

Hello everyone.

I agree to that it some better magazin to buy. I’ll never will be involwed with the Wood Magazine. It is just sad to know others are still buying and keep it going. And with persons just taking our money and just don’t do anything to their customer.

I am a subscriber to Wood Magazine. Of all of the magazines that I subscribe to of have subscribed to it is one of the top two for projects that I build from magazine plans.

I am sorry that you have had a bad experience with your subscription.

Never had an issue – been a subscriber for a long time.

Seems the issue is getting hard copy magazines to Norway. shipping magazines 7000 miles is a bit much to ask for a 20 dollar per year subscription when postage for 255grams is around 9 USD.

There are international brokers:
http://www.global-magazines.com/l/shop/1A-stoomwals/home/de/pid/is/2995.html

they have 1 year of Wood for ~65 Euro…. while here it is ~17 Euro delivered to US addresses

I would not pay 65 Euro for Wood magazine. but I don’t know the local market pricing for magazines.
