You see their terms

Q. What’s the status of the items sold on your website ?
A. All items we sell on ToolManiax.com are new with the status “not-sold” and we aquired them from different business liquidators, auctionners or retailers who need to empty their stocks.

Q. Where can i pickup my order ?
A. Our warehouse is located on Blackburn Ave, Cody, WY and you can pickup the items Monday-Saturday 10:00am-8:00pm EST .

Q. You offer any kind of shipping ?
A. We are offering $100 shipping through our White Glove Service. Shipping time is between 10-15 days.

Q. What means White Glove Service?
A. This is our own shipping service, done with our own trucks and drivers. We ship more items at once so it takes 10-15 working days to deliver. White Glove Service contains beside shipping, assembling (if necessary ) and debris removal (if necessary) .

Q. How long it takes to process an order?
A. It takes us arround 72 hours from the moment you paid to arrange your items, load and ship.

Q. What type of payments do you accept?
A. We accept, PayPal by Moneypak, BillMeLater, cash and other forms of payment.

Q. Why I can’t send directly from my PayPal account ?
A. Moneypak is the latest way to load your PayPal account. You can find that option if you log in your account. It’s also the most secure way for a merchant to receive payments with a no-fraud policy and this is the reason we don’t accept direct PayPal transfers.

Q. Why some methods of payment are not open for my account?
A. Due to a large number of fraudulent orders received lately, first time customers do not have access to all the methods of payment we accept.

Q. What happens if the received items are scratched, not as described etc. ?
A. We must be notified within 48 hours from the date of delivery for a no cost return or exchange .

Q. I left you a message but no one contacted me?
A. We receive thousands of phone messages daily. We can’t reach everybody for some general questions so it’s better if you place your order first and call us after. We also confirm all orders so make sure you write your cellphone when you register on the website.

ericandcandi YES it does sound too good to be true! I have a tendency to believe the same way. One thing that I have learned the easy way is if it sounds that unbelievable then it probably is. Think of it this way, if you were to sell a quality piuece of furniture that you have spent a lot of hours on and have spent realistic money on the wood would you sell it for the price of a Walmart or an Ikea product? I have sold some furniture recently and the price is the price…..it is what it is.
My thoughts of toolmanix…..if it is legitimate (which I personaly doubt) it is a good buy….but do the risks outweigh the rewards? I would rather buy a high quality used piece knowing that it is a good piece of equipment than to take that risk.

At least one of their payment methods is linked to Fraud.

I wouldn’t touch this with a 10’ pole.

Seems related to the toolsclearance and Craigslist scams.
