It is all politics.

Is it any different than someone lying about Benghazi or a certain e-mail server?

I wish we could have a marathon election of 78 days and throw out the conservatives like Canada did.

Trump tried to stab someone?!?

Just kidding.

On a side note, regardless of left or right, I like when candidates speak in an unfiltered manner. It helps me to quantify ones character a little better, something which is hard to do when candidates give such ‘middle of the road’ or ‘safe’ answers/thoughts.

I havent witnessed too many presidential races, does this round of candidates (on both sides) seem to be more colorful, eventful, controversial etc. as ones from the past?

So no one has answer for this? Of course I like it when politicians are real and say what they actually mean. Carson definitely does that, but most of the things he says are crazy. I would say that’s being “too real”.

I can’t understand why most of them are running… do they get to keep the superPAC money?

Better question is why Clinton or Sanders should be President. One is a chronic liar and crooked as a cork screw while the other is a socialist leaning toward communist. Sounds like the kool-aid of Hope and Change as fractured someones thinking.

However, this is not a political form and we should stick to Woodworking.

Is politics not allowed in the coffee lounge? I’m not really active on any other forums, so I don’t have any other insight into this phenomenon.

IMHO, how about on the liberal or conservative political sites so you can commiserate with those of similar mindset or agree with your positions. Even better, Facebook sounds like the place.

This way heated argument do not destroy the focus of LJ’s or have the coffee lounge closed down as it was in the past for a while.
