To avoid dismounting my Freud router from the router table every time I need to do smaller projects, am considering purchasing a small handheld router. Has anyone had experience with the Marvel 40 ?

I like mine better than my neighbors Bosch palm router, and right now you can save an extra 10 spot. I use this most of the time when I route just because it is so dang handy. The only complaint I have is that the clear plastic base was over tightened at the factory and cracked all around the screw holes that hold the bottom piece on. MLCS did not want the piece back, so I glued a 1/4” piece of plexiglass on drilled to accept a router guide for 1/4 shank bits. I make all my zero clearance inserts for my TS. Watch the video, it comes with all the attachments as well. It’s not bad for the money.

I have the Bosch Colt VS and I’m pretty pleased with it.
