Just wondering if any one had an opinion on Harbor Freight’s mortising machine?

I have not tried the mortiser from HF but I have other tools. Their sanders are OK, The drills are OK, but even the best of them don’t last long. The drill bits are good for nothing and I would be afraid of the router bits. You should weigh their value by how much use the tools will get. Good luck

I’d spend a little more and have a longer lasting tool. Like Delta,Shop Fox.

Got one… bought it on sale a few years ago, honestly have never used it… I have a few projects will be requiring mortises… so we’ll see… some parts keep falling off it, not really a design masterpiece as far as “fit” goes, but seems to be substantial…
