Topic tags/keywords: carving nativity

Kind of a big project for a first time carver but Im giving it a shot. I started with a block of wood and just started whittling away with a pocket knife. its not done yet but i was hoping for some tips on how to make it look better. im not sure if im going to try to put a face on him yet or not.

it should be fun. start now you might be done in time for christmass.from piece one the last you’ll see
how much better you’ve gotten. also go by the pictures of each part of the scene for use in modling for you to copy
