Topic tags/keywords: resource tip question trick sander sanding finishing

Hello , I’m looking for potential suppliers for my sanding needs. I have three drum sanders . One needs 2” roll stock and the other two need 3” roll stock . Has anyone experimented with making the 3” fit the 2” drum ? I know it would take fewer wraps , but my question is the cutting to correct length of and attachment of the tapered ends . Also , do you have a preference of paper or cloth backed rolls ? I also have several PC ROS 5” 5 hole H&L .Any preferences as to Brands or types of abrasives for woodworking.
Thank you

My choice is klingspor … if you are tax exempt(business with taxID) you can buy from direct from klingspor, if not goto http://www.woodworkingshop.com/ this is thier retail catalog.

I have ordered a quite a lot or abrasives from them, all are high quality and outstanding service. Except for craytex abrasives they are always my first stop.
