Topic tags/keywords: tools auction

I discovered this Public Surplus Auction Site the other day and figured that I best let everybody here on Lumberjocks know about it that may not already. Here is the link to the main page. http://www.publicsurplus.com/ Once there you can select the state you live in from a drop down menu under the “Browse Auction within Area” with the Select Region link. You can select your state or just select All, which will show the entire country. Then after selecting your Region go to the left side of the page and under the Categories section select the link Industrial Equipment, which opens up more links and you select Wood Shop and or Tools for drills and such. This then shows you the tools that are available in your state, or if you selected All then the entire country. When you click on the description of the tool under Title it will give you where the tool is located and what public entity is auctioning it and pictures.

I have been keeping my eye on this for the past couple of day’s and looks like there just might be some good deals on there. There is a 24” Powermatic Planner here in Utah but it is 3 phase…... Check the site out and see what you think….

Dorje,

I have seen items in Washington on there before so keep checking. Items are added quite often.

Will do – primarily out of interest. Don’t have a ton of shop space!
