All you woodworkers, come out to Utah and build a Maloof style rocker with me. In one week you go home with the knowledge to make these rockers as well as taking home your own rocker. It will still need a lot of finish work, but all the joints and shapes will be there. I furnish the wood, text, patterns, jig and personal instructions. Any woodworker can do it, just one step at a time.

Well Sir, I have plans of building a maloof rocker right here in Kansas, in my shop. No need to go Utah just for that. I’d rather bring home lumber from a couple mills. I’ve got the written plans & drawings as well. Might I ask, what type of lumber are you planning to use for your rocker?

Good for you.
Take a look at my web site at and you will see a verity of woods. From Hawaiian Koa to Walnut in several of the Walnut species. I really enjoy working with Argentine Mesquite.
