hi all it has reached over 37degrees here in Perth Western Australia (over 100 Fahrenheit)

which makes it too hot to go out into my uninsulated shed and play with my new table saw

talk about frustrating

it should be cooler tomorrow until then i will have to satisfy myself with this addictive site

Hi all you insomniacs it is 2.30 in the afternoon here what are you still doing up

rick is that 16 Fahrenheit or celcius and i am more likely to find and introduced fox than a kangaroo in my end of suburbia

Scrappy i think i will live with the heat but wait for the shadows to grow a bit longer before heading out to the shed

topamax that is why this sight is so good you can get a geography lesson as well as several wood working lessons

Hooky
PS thanks for helping me not get to bored

I remember a few months ago, someone on your side of the world was complaining of the cold. Was doing projects that did not require glue, It would not harden/set up. haha It was 115F here that day.

We all have different temp at different times of the year we have to deal with. It is just one of the joys of doing this in a garage or shed as a hobby. No climate control.

BTW it isn’t THAT late here yet. Only going on midnight.

but as i love my apprenticeship as a cabinet maker i wouldnt swap it for anything (its like messing around in your shed with pay how cool is that)

hooky: It’s now 1:05 in the a.m, and I just looked and it’s 14 degrees now—that’s fahrenheit to all you sunbathers out there!!!!! lol. It’s colder than a frog’s hind leg. If it wasn’t so cold, it would snow. So—- I think this fat man will hit the fart sack. Goodnight all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep on keeping on.

You can keep the heat! I’ll take cold any day. I can always put my thermals on.

My daughter just moved to Robina about 3 months ago and she also said it was extremely hot there .
She also says there are a lot of large spiders and she hates any type of spider !

John, from the maps that is over on the east coast of Australia and yes they have most of the poisonous spiders over there

We still get big ones on the west coast but they aren’t as poisonous

they don’t normally bother me its the cockroaches that i don’t like

Same problem here Hookey. I go out early morning & come back in when it heats up. In it for fun not punishment.
