Thanks for the latest emag. I joined the group a few months back and this edition is the first one that I have taken the time to peruse. Great Works are happening out there and your mag is outstanding. Will look forward to the next issue. I will be posting an entry in the winter contest.

Hi Deb,
This is excellent! I think it is the best so far.
The info is useful and I really like the interview part.
I even found out that I missed David’s (Patron) birthday and got to wish him a belated 65th.
Thanks for the new info.
Ellen

Debbie,
I thoroughly enjoyed your interview with John Looser. I’ve seen his houses for quite some time and have wondered what possesses a person to go to such extremes. Now we know a little something about a wonderful atrist. Thanks for sharing.

ms debbie ,

i read every word in this new and exiting edition of the newsletter ,
and i think that you have done a superb job !
it is very easy to get to where ever one wants to go ,
and is very interesting .
your interview with john is just great , as you previous one have been .
and dilos workshop is just great for all that dream of bigger space to work in ,
we should all be so lucky to have his talents and perseverance in our work !

my thanks to you and all that make this site so wonderful .

the only thing that surprised me ,
is that it didn’t show up to me on it’s own ,
i found it while scanning the pulse ,
and thought it was a comment from last news letter .
i was surprised that it had just been posted .

how do i make sure that i get it when it comes out ?

and to you and everyone ,

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR !
( and of course quansi (?) ,hanuka , and however you may celebrate ! )

thanks :)

I think the eMag mailing option was given when you joined… we’ll have to get Martin in on this one (or anyone else who happens to know)

David has a good point. I have a mail rule that files my lumberjocks email automatically and I rarely look at it. My primary interaction is through the site. It would be good to have a post that says it is out and something on the home page when it first comes out to let folks know it is out. I am guessing there are others that do not look at LJ related email.

Again I want to thank you Ms Debbie for the wonderful job that you do. Proof reading the books was the reason I put my name in the drawing for the bookdraw this time on working on the Lathe. Not that I could learn anything from it. LOL. Seriously, the work that you do here is amazing. You are like our Mother, our Nurse, our Counselor, Guide, Helper, Our Source of information and all round good person. I think I can speak for the whole group in giving you a GIANT HUG AND GIANT THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO FOR US.

I’ll be posting the “FEEDBACK REQUEST” every month.. maybe that will help?
(Martin had posted the feedback request in the past).

Mike… now I’m blushing!
:)
Thank you for the very kind (and perhaps overly done—just perhaps) words :)

Haven’t made it all the way through yet, but I will. I set it aside for those times I just want to lounge and enjoy LumberJock stuff at its finest.

This is truly an enjoyable item, far superior to similar publications in other arenas I have frequented. They are overly event, calendar, and marketing oriented. Yours has a personal touch from someone who is actively involved with day-to-day activities on the site, and you have a feel for what is truly interesting. It is a much appreciated endeavour.
