I was in town today and stopped by KC Mouldings in Lancaster, CA. I needed a couple of oak boards and a popular one. I was talking to Nick about this router table I want to build using 3/4 melamine. He says “How much you want? It’s free.” I managed a “Hows that?” Well it seems that the plywood companies put this stuff on the bottom to protect the Maple, Cherry, etc. from fork lift damage and he hates to throw it in the trash because it takes up too much room. Would not take a nickle. I tried.
If this happens in the boondocks out here in the Mojave, I’ll bet this is the case else where. So ask and see if you will recieve. My little pickup came home dragging the bumper. Had to tie my wheelchair on top because I couldn’t get it in the camper shell.
I just got my Wixey angle gauge today. Thanks guys for your sharing you love affair with Wixey. I immediatly checked miy saw and found it was way out of adjustment, 90.1 On the left and 89.9 on the right. No wonder I can’t get a good glue up.
Since I joined LJ, alot of good things have happened to. Thanks for letting your good luck rub off on me.
Rand

My RT is a full 48” long x 24” deep and made out of Melamine. Only I had to buy it. LOL

Good find, and hope you are able to fix your TS.

It’s totally different from my “findings”. I approched ‘em and offered to buy the shipping board/pellets they piled up at the backyard, I was turned down, they let ‘em rotten instead!

Good luck is just like rainbow, we never see it right above our head!

Greetings Dan: A question? How do you open the drawers and door without any knobs or handles? Inquiring minds want to know. Keep on keeping on!!
