Does anyone have a good resource for bulk dowels (ie. 1000ea 5/16th spiral or fluted 1”)

I don’t have the literature I got at the IWF but google dowels and you will get a number of hits of dowel manufacturers.

I had looked at Cherry Tree Toys for some spindles then googled them. I got 300 spindles for what 25 would have cost from Cherry Tree.

Just went down to the shop and checked. They came from Atlas Dowel in Ohio and I ordered them online.
