Topic tags/keywords: carpenter needed job help finishing

Hey Guys,

I am new to the site, but have browsed a good bit lately. I apologize if this post is not in the right spot, or if it’s not the right way to go about things. But i am starting a business that needs skilled craftsmen and i figured that you guys could at least point me in the right direction.

This business will specialize in “Custom Home Creations” including custom bunk beds, cabinets, playrooms, tunnels, slides, lots of bookcase doors and hidden entrances. So it’s not your run-of-the-mill framing, or sheetrock construction.

We are on the Southside of Atlanta and i already have a couple of projects pending. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where i may be able to find the best people for the job.

I hope to Hire a carpenter full time soon, but until then this will pay per project, and being that each is different the pay will vary for now. I am also looking for someone who may be able to help price jobs so that i can accurately quote them for my customers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I admire the work that i see on this site. You guys are truly skilled!

Thanks so much in advance!

Joel

Once you find some one to run your dream business for you do you have the capital to pay them weekly or at the very least bi-monthly? Or, do you expect him to get paid after you get paid?

Sorry for the delay, had to work all day.

Thanks for the responses… I am the owner/operator and handle every aspect of this company.
It is by far my ” dream job”, but one that I feel I can help families and children with special needs with and enjoy.

Past that I’m not looking for business advice on how to run my company. Just looking for quality people that may be interested in being apart of some unique projects.

Please let me know if you are interested, or of a place I can find peoplr who are….

Thanks
