Topic tags/keywords: shop updates

Finally getting some shop time now that it is getting a little cooler.Reorganized my lathe area to the opposite side of my shop.I wanted to be near a window and closer to my dust collector.Turned my lathe/bench around to face my shop and moved my lathe tool rack into the corner.Tonight I built another lathe tool rack to hold my parting tools. It sits left of my large one.Its made of ply,has a few shelf’s

,its trimmed in pine and I used pvc for the tool holders-it works great.

I moved my cabinets that are on my back wall all the way to the right but left a space open and filled it up with adjustable shelf’s-one shelf currently holds my drill/charger-its nice to get it up and out of the way.
I recently added a small tool caddy to the left side of my lathe to hold accessories, ect.
And one more pic of my lathe area corner.

Well thanks for looking.

Looks like a nice area to do turning.

Jeff, you must have cleaned it up before taking the pix. I always like to see a neat, tidy shop because I think they are safer.
