I used to buy stuff from them, like my two air cleaners (picked theirs because they’re 12” square and fit up between the joists so I don’t bang my head) then all of sudden I heard nothing about them and stopped getting the catalogs. So I decided to do a little more in depth investigating (had looked in the past buy only superficially) and come to find out they’re now Woodworker’s Warehouse and Woodworker’s Supply. Well at least their links take you to what looks to be the same place. Turns out they had stores in the Northeastern, Mid-Atlantic, and Western states known as Woodworkers Warehouse and apparently in 2002 dropped the Trend-Lines name. Still sell those air cleaners I bought too, only they’re green now instead of blue. :)

You’ve had them for a while now, do they work well?

Yep, since January 1999. :) They work good, real good. As evidenced by how often I have to clean the filters. It’s a two stage system, it came with the first filter just a flat mesh type filter that you wash and reuse, then internally the multi-slot bag filter. I then added a third filter on the intake, a pleated furnace filter so that helped somewhat in that I don’t have to clean the bag filter as often just clean the mesh filter and replace the furnace filter.

But I would not be without them. They really cut down the the overall dust in the shop, not to mention less dust in the air to breathe.

We had a supplier in Canada called Tool -Trend(s) who we used to get catalogs from as well, and they fell off the face of the earth too. I think my last purchase of carbide planer blades was in 2000.

They sold a lot of CMT products when the line was entirely from Italy.

Wonder if it was part of Trend-Lines?
