Hi guys,

Hopefully one of you has a better memory than me.

I think it was LJ but it might have been HR since I’ve been playing around on there lately.

But a few days ago I saw a post where someone had put a cat door through their bathroom wall into the garage where they put their litter box.

I didn’t comment on it since we don’t have a cat…

Then today my son called and asked if I could feed their cat’s while they are out of town this weekend. That would be perfect for them.

Of course, I could do it without finding that post but I’d like to show them the post to see what they think of the idea first.

If anyone else remembers that please post a link here.

P.S. I tried searching and found some cool stuff but not that one. If I remember correctly their bathroom wall was yellow… but if I had any kind of memory I wouldn’t of had to write this post.

One of my favorites (not a formal “favorite”, but it really tickled me).

Thanks J (can I call you J?),

That’s the one.

Nice shade of yellow on the walls, huh? LOL

I made it one of my formal favorites now so I won’t lose it again (maybe).

Thanks again,

I think having a pet door in a wall is a great idea. I needed one for all my dogs to be able to go out into their kennel 24/7. I built a dog house 2’ x 6’ sloped down to the ground on the outside of my house off my hallway. I put a dog door thru the wall into the dog house. I also added indoor/outdoor carpet and 2 extra flaps to the inside of the dog house to help knock snow off of the dogs as they came into the house. And it also keeps the wind and dirt from blowing into the house from outside. I just love it. They can go out and play anytime they want and I never have to walk the dogs. It’s wonderful.

Hi Deb,

You should post that as a project. Then I send a link to my daughter ‘cause they could do that too.

P.S. Speaking of you posting projects when are you going to post that TV stand you built?

That’s pretty cool! Just a thought, I would check local building codes and also consider the cold air coming in from the garage if you live in a cold climate.
