Today proved to me, without a doubt, that no matter what level your craftsmanship is at, getting in the right circle of people makes all the difference. It all started with a simple estimate, some doors for an entertainment center, well lady A told her friend lady B that a “woodworker” was coming by to look at her entertainment center, well her friend B had to see me about a dining room set. So I finish up with A, get in my truck and follow her to her friends bigger home to speak with her about a dining room. As we are speaking about a curly maple table and chairs, lady B’s friend calls. I hear her on the phone “I’m here with a woodworker, he’s going to do my dining room set….”. Lady B returns and asks if I think I could go with her to Lady C’s, she also wants a new table. So we finish up at B’s and then drive to an even bigger home. That of lady C’s. She wants an eliptical mahogany table with sideboard. Money runs with money.
What a day, I think I have work thru spring. I stopped and got a lottery ticket on the way home, but I must have used all my luck in the first half of the day.

Rhett, this does sound like you had a great day. Too bad about the lottery ticket but if you had won you probably would not have needed to work on the tables and ended up missing out on all this shop time that you have lined up! :)
