Topic tags/keywords: dremel facebook prize

Good evening all,

Today was a rather lucky day for me. I use FB quite regularly. I became fans of the Ridgid, Dremel, and Ryobi facebook pages. Last week, Dremel had a posting on their DIY videos and the first person to reply would receive a free 75th anniversary dremel kit. I can tell you right now, I never win anything :) so I was a little surprised to see that my comment actually was the first. Well I received the package today. Very nice Dremel, chrome accents, a few accessories, and a very sharp multi-tool that I would say is as good in quality as the leatherman product. I am not doing any publicity campaign or anything, but I did want to give a shout out to Dremel for such a nice package. I didn’t really expect to receive much and I sure didn’t expect it to come to my door so quickly.

For those that don’t use Facebook, check it out. There are plenty of tool pages out there in which you can become a fan, receive updates from the company on new tools, and some more reviews from others on what their experiences with a product were like. And, like me, you might get a few perks in there thrown in as well. I know that Rockler will offer special discounts for Facebook members.

Happy Holidays,

Congratulations, David. That is a nice tool that you won. And thanks for the info on Facebook. I have an account but rarely use it (I spend most of my time on board here). I may have to be more active with my Facebook account.

Thanks Scott. I do have a couple dremels downstairs already, but this was a pretty sharp package. I know most of these giveaways are for the purpose of advertising and PR. I just wanted to do my part to keep these giveaways going :)
