Topic tags/keywords: question tablesaw

Hello, I am a younger woodworker and have decided to invest in a table saw.
I do have previous experience with them and other tools as well.
I am considering either a Delta 36-540 or a Rockwell/Beaver 3/4 hp tablesaw.
Both are similar price and I am really not sure which one to get.
Any advice is much appreciated.

I would go with Rockwell over a newer Delta any day.

How young? What’s your budget? What will you be making? What condition are the saws in?

The cost of both tools is the same, and the condition.
I will be making smaller furniture, and doing lots of ripping and cross cutting because most of the wood is from pallets. I will not really need to change the angle the blade. I will also be cutting plywood, but nothing huge.
I won’t be cutting much if any large peices of hardwood, so having tons of power isn’t totally necessary,
although it would be preferred.
