Being a veteran myself, service members—especially those in danger’s path—are always in my thoughts..

I will be making my traditional brined and smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. I have some Pearwood scraps from the felled tree I got last year that I will be using for the smoker fuel.

May you all have something good to be thankful for. I enjoy this time to reflect on what good has happened in the last year (the past in general) and take a moment to thank the folks that made this possible….including our vets and our allies around the world….I Hope you all enjoy the holiday – and to our Non-American LJ’s – I wish you all the same without the “holiday” part.
