I have been following lumberjocks posting for 1 year. It has inspired me to pick up a childhood hobby. Moving from Manhattan NY to Sparta NJ has inspired me to go around a collect all this amazing reclaimed wood from old houses barns. Local business are throwing away Wood Pallets. This has been a real find. oak, maple, pine , cedar pallets. I get for FREE!!!

I break the pallets down take all the nails out after Planed down the pallet boards to half inch thickness with my new Dewalt DW734 Heavy-Duty 12-1/2’’ Thickness Planer with Three Knife Cutter-Head.

The Water Cooler made of Oak with a Dark Walnut finish from Minwax turned out great. It is my first posting. Looking for advice from you lumberjocks. This is a fun exciting new venture.

Made my first sale in my new wood business.

Welcome to LumberJocks! Sounds like you have access to some nice reclaimed wood.

You gotta post that cooler as a project, so we can all see it.
