I was looking at woodworking power tools online and found an ad on Craigslist:

“Red Router with Black Table”

That was all of the information provided and the asking price was $100.

Sounds like a good deal to me – always wanted a red router and a black table!

If the listing is close by, nothing says that you can zip over and take a look-see. If you like, you buy, if not, you leave and call it day.

I just a purchased a new “red router” not long ago. Go thing too because my OLD Craftsmen just up and died. You’d think they make a tool that lasted longer than 20 yrs. But I digress.

I think it’s worth looking in too for a $100.

I dunno. I’ve always heard the black tables can be a bit tricky at first. And don’t get me started on how DANGEROUS the Red Routers are! Best to play it safe and stick to the Brown routers and Argyle tables. :)

Red routers are my favorite. That way my wife can’t tell if you I get a new one!

Red is good – the dried blud doesn’t show too much.

I prefer dark blue & gray routers with green lettering.
