How do you guys hook up the router for dust collection? Cant seem to find a solution online. I have the porter cable plunge router. It has a port to hook a hose to but cannot find a hose that will fit.

I use Dewalt / Porter Cable routers as well. I found a “crush-proof” hose at Woodcraft that works quite well. I attach it to the standard hose on my shop vacuum. Even through both long hoses, dust collection is excellent. The router I use most is a Dewalt 618, and it has a clear plastic shroud to increase suction. That part must be in place to get good dust collection. Perhaps you have the P.C. 890 series. As I recall, it has a similar clear plastic piece.
